In Zoochosis you will be Paul Connelly, the protagonist of the game, who is having serious financial and family problems. Faced with desperation, Paul will look for a job like crazy and is willing to do anything to be able to support his family.
The opportunity comes from the Pine Valley Zoo. Oliver Metzger (the manager) will offer you a job as a night carer. Your mission seems simple: take care of the animals during the night shift, feed and monitor sick animals, among other tasks.
But what was supposed to be a very quiet night job will turn into your worst nightmare. It seems that some parasites of unknown origin have started attacking and infecting some zoo animals.
The effects of the disease are devastating and disturbing, because it transforms giraffes, gorillas, hippos, penguins and other species into brutal bloodthirsty mutants.
The animals will transform physically, with a truly grotesque and very scary appearance (it's the most shocking thing about the game), but the worst thing is their incredible aggressiveness.
Something that also helps to create a scary atmosphere is the first-person view, which offers a more immersive experience while exploring the scenarios.
The story is not very exciting from the first moment, where you will only take care of the animals in each sector of the park, but as you observe that some get sick you will have to investigate what is happening.
In this independent horror adventure you will not be alone, because you will have the help of another character: an investigative journalist named Sarah Watkins.
Find out how to develop a vaccine that can stop mutations, because your life will be at stake and you may not see the light of the sun.
But in addition, you will have to prevent the animals from infecting you and end up as an aggressive mutant more. Finally, depending on which animals you save or not, the end of the game will depend, something very interesting because no game will be the same as the previous one.
