AMANDA THE ADVENTURER 2 is the sequel to the Horror Game of Amanda the Adventurer but with many more Secrets and Characters to discover

Amanda the Adventurer 2 is the long-awaited continuation of one of the most viral indie horror games of last year, but it's back with new scenarios to explore, bigger, with bigger mysteries, with new and sinister characters.

This time the mystery story continues and not only the fearsome Amanda will be looking for you but there will be more dangers lurking. In our opinion review, we are going to reveal all the key points of this new installment and how you can play the free demo version. Go ahead!

 

In this sequel after the events developed in the first game (Riley Park discovered the mysterious contents of the old videotapes found in the attic of her late aunt's house) and for the first time in the saga, she leaves the house to explore new mysteries.

Following the clues indicated in the videos, the action moves to the Kensdale City Public Library. This is a key point in the game, because you will have a much bigger scenario to investigate.

The first thing you will find when you arrive is a mysterious masked character who claims to have met Riley's aunt and that there is something left for her in the library, but she needs your help to find it.

But that's not all, she also warns you of the danger of an evil entity that is looking for her, because she is interested in the content of the tapes.

Thus begins an exploration of the building, mysteriously empty but full of clues, objects and riddles to advance the sinister story into the unknown.

As in the first part of the game, you will control the protagonist in the third person, which in this case is the librarian Margret, so she will never be visible on the screen. As soon as you arrive at the library we advise you to consult the PCs that you find because they may have information.

First of all, you find a note in which a certain Sophie will ask you to get a VHS tape hidden in the library (remember that in the first part everyone who watches the tapes ends up dying), but to find it you will first have to find clues in several books.

No spoilers: in this new tape you will be able to see Amanda the Adventurer again with a new episode "Let's go on a trip". This will not be just another tape, because you will have to interact with her, but also and as a novelty: Amanda will be aware of your presence and will do everything possible so that you follow her instructions.

From the film get ready to talk and travel around the world in Amanda's story, but where is Wooly (Amanda's cute little sheep friend)? what did Riley's aunt hide in the library? we're not going to tell you that, you'll have to find out.

In our opinion Amanda the Adventurer 2 improves many of the features of the first part, but maintaining that retro video game aesthetic, which seems childish, but is still as creepy or more than the original… do you want to continue investigating the mystery?

The first installment of Amanda the Adventurer's games was released on the indie gaming platform known as itch.io , but its sequel, in demo version, has been presented on Steam (the full version is expected throughout this 2024). If you want to download Amanda The Adventurer 2 (Demo version) for free, follow this short step-by-step tutorial:

 

1. Click on the "PLAY NOW" button located at the top left of this same post.
2. Wait for the link to the official website of the game to load on Steam.
3. Click on the image or on the text below.
4. Once on Steam, scroll down to the section called "Download Amanda The Adventurer 2 Demo".
