THANK GOODNESS YOU’RE HERE!
GAME INFO
In Thank Goodness You're Here! you will live many adventures (and above all Laughs) in this new Humor Genre Game
Thank Goodness You're Here is an adventure game and absurd Humor that is being much commented since its release at the beginning of the month for being one of the funniest games of the moment.
It can be said that this adventure game has started a new genre within gaming and that is the comic animated adventure. In this article we make the analysis of this novelty and how you can play an official Beta Demo version for free… Watch out!
The action takes place in a small town in the north of England called Barnsworth, in the county of Yorkshire. As the protagonist you will be a very particular street vendor: you will be a little yellow man.
You have been sent by your boss, to meet with the mayor, but once in his office he seems not to have much interest in attending to you so you will be forced to take a walk around the city to make time (and here the madness begins).
Exploring the streets and places you will find countless inhabitants whom you will get to know and you will live truly absurd situations. First of all, you should only worry about performing two actions: jumping and slapping (yes, it seems funny).
Slapping people and things may serve you to destroy and do evil, but it could also serve to do good. All the locals will ask you to help them, insistently, one after another and that is something that can overwhelm you.
As for the graphic part, it is an incomparable graphic art production in which you will seem to be watching an animation series or the classic Point-to-Click graphic adventure, but it goes much further, with a series of sketches of humor and British sass.
We warn you that the game is in English and part of its grace is the characteristic Yorkshire English accent of the characters, but it is perfectly translated into Spanish and with subtitles.
The music of the game is very funny and accompanies perfectly in the succession of comic acts that you will see in the development of the plot. On many occasions you will be forced to go through the same places again, but the things that will happen will vary, so you will be looking forward to going through certain situations again for new jokes.
A special mention deserves the section of the voices, which have been recorded with authentic dubbing actors. We are not dealing with any comic game (which by the way there are very few, at least known).
The appearance of the protagonist is already absurd from the beginning, looking more like a leprechaun than a human, but the hilarious thing is that he only interacts based on slaps and punches left and right.
In short, Thank Goodness You're Here represents the genre of humor fresh air, with classic English humor in a series of guaranteed laugh scenes, in addition to having a very successful production… ready for some fun and banging?
